Newly upgraded department including an eight-bed short stay unit, state of the art three-bed resuscitation area and fast track area. Equipped with modern monitoring and ventilation equipment and bed-side ultrasound.
Currently accredited by ACEM for 12 months of advanced training and Paediatric log-book. Excellent working relationships with all units, and very well supported by the hospital’s intensive care specialists and anaesthetists, with trainees rotating through all three services. Training is supported by an active teaching programme managed by our DEMT.

Bendigo Health is affiliated with the Bendigo Regional Clinical School, a part of the Monash University School of Rural Health.

Applicants should be legally qualified practitioners, registered or registrable with the Medical Practitioners Board of Victoria. They should also hold Fellowship of the Australian College of Emergency Medicine and/or postgraduate qualifications as recognised by the National Specialists Qualification Advisory Committee.
