VEHICLE MECHANIC

BAE Systems' committed team in Puckapunyal supports programs of national significance including the maintenance and warehousing of military vehicles, artillery pieces and other defence equipment for the Australian Defence Force. Applications are now sought from experienced vehicle mechanics keen to join our Defence Logistics team on a permanent basis.
As one of the Vehicle Mechanics on our team and reporting to the Team Leader, you will have the responsibility of ensuring maintenance and repair services of the highest quality are delivered on time to our customer, the Department of Defence. These vehicles include Unimogs, Land-Rovers, Mack Trucks and armoured vehicles.
As the ideal applicant, you will have:
• experience in vehicle maintenance and repair
• A trade qualification in an automotive field
• The ability to work effectively in a team environment
BAE Systems supports flexible working arrangements and as such, this role may be offered either on a full-time or part-time basis.
To meet defence security requirements, applicants must be Australian citizens or eligible for citizenship.
