Regional Community Development Coordinator

Humanities and Social Sciences teach and lead research in arts and humanities disciplines on five of the University's campuses. They have a distinguished national and international research record in archaeology, history, linguistics, literature and culture, politics and sociology.
The position
The Regional Community Development Manager in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is primarily responsible for the growth and expansion of the Faculty's non metropolitan campuses (Albury-Wodonga, Bendigo, Mildura and Shepparton).
This position is based at Bendigo campus and will be responsible for implementing the Faculty's Operational Plan across regional Victoria with schools, communities and industry stakeholders.
The candidate
To succeed, you will possess relevant tertiary qualifications with at least 4 years subsequent experience in regional and/or industry development or an equivalent alternative combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience. You will also have demonstrated capacity to use initiative and provide high level project management skills within a complex environment to a variety of stakeholders to achieve organisational objectives. Sound knowledge of the higher education sector is also highly desirable.
As this role requires travel to different La Trobe University sites a current Victorian Driver's License is essential.
